fromhttp://www.sierraclubtv.org/ Dear Sierra Club Supporter,
When I signed up to be part of the Sierra Club's new TV series, I did so because I believe -- as you do -- that we need to protect our clean air, water, and open space for future generations.
As host of Sierra Club Chronicles, I learned of inspiring stories of every-day heroes who are fighting David vs. Goliath battles against big polluters -- and winning.
I began to wonder -- why aren't we hearing about these stories more often? There has never been a more urgent time for us to share stories of hope and inspiration with our friends and neighbors so that we are reminded of our core value: every person can make a difference. There are those out there who want us to feel like saving our environment is a lost cause, so that we won't try to protect our communities. Will you help me prove them wrong?
If you sign up to host a house-party to screen Chronicles for your friends, we'll send you a free copy of the 30-minute episode of your choice so that you can help share these inspiring stories. Or, you can order the entire first-season on DVD. And check out our website for tools to help you take action.
Sierra Club Chronicles shows us heroes who are making a difference in their communities. You can too. It's easy. Help us spread the word today.
